Leofoto MR.Y LY-284C, is a cutting-edge tripod that redefines portability and stability for professional shooters. The innovative Y-shaped centre column design allows the tripod legs to fold closer together, significantly reducing the packed diameter for easier transportation. The advanced 1-second loosening/tightening centre column lock lever system enables a quick and effortless setup, providing a seamless shooting experience.
This tripod features four distinct leg angles, including a unique 42° setting that ensures stability even in windy conditions, surpassing the standard three-angle configurations found in most tripods. Constructed from 10 layers of carbon fibre with a cross rhombus structure, the legs offer exceptional strength, stability, and reduced vibration, ideal for high-performance shooting.
The MR.Y LY-284C also boasts a single-piece shim design, offering enhanced strength, reliability, and ease of maintenance over traditional two-piece constructions. Coupled with the LH-30 low-profile ball head, this tripod provides unmatched stability and smooth movement. The ergonomic, large main locking knob ensures easy handling, while the low-height profile enhances reliability and precision in every shot.

- Y-shaped centre column tripod: Different from the traditional O-shaped centre column, the Y-shaped centre column allows the tripod legs to be closer together when folded, reducing the packed diameter.
- 1-second loosening/tightening centre column lock: Lever lock system, one press/one pull to lock/unlock completely. Special-designed spider, compact and light.
- 4 angles are available: Most of the tripods in the market normally only include 3 angles, low, middle and high. Leofoto added a 42° setting to make sure even in windy conditions, shooting can still be stable.
- Carbon fibre: Carbon fibre leg tubes feature a cross rhombus structure for greater strength, stability and less vibration.
- Single-piece shim: Single-piece shim is stronger, more reliable and easier to maintain than 2-piece construction.
- Low height profile ballhead: Ergonomic large main locking knob gives easy handling. A low-height profile gives better reliability. A precisely machined ball makes the movement silky smooth.

These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back-in-stock dates. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES
In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. A NOTE ABOUT DPD SHIPMENTS:
- Please be advised that we have now introduced DPD Pins to all DPD orders from Optics Warehouse.
- If your shipment is being sent from Optics Warehouse via DPD you will be sent a Pin Code that must be shown to the courier upon delivery.
- The pincode is sent VIA email & TEXT message. A valid email address and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will be sent from "Riviera House 3PL" - if you do not receive this email please check your junk or spam folders.
- Please note that if you do not display your pin code to the courier driver upon delivery, you will not be able to have your item and you may need to schedule another delivery date to show a valid pin.
